Jason Burke, Senior Advisor, Innovation and Advanced Analytics, UNC SCHOOL OF MEDICINE AND UNC HEALTH CARE SYSTEM’S CENTER FOR INNOVATION

This session will explore how capability maturity concepts such as those defined in the book “Health Analytics: Gaining the Insights to Transform Health Care: have been applied through the work of a health innovation center focused on value-based transformation.
By using population health initiatives to opportunistically bridge the gaps between strategic planning, operations, and IT, the center has demonstrated how organizations can incrementally develop sustainable competencies and analytical assets that simultaneously serve the needs of clinical research, quality improvement, and care delivery.
